Dr Tanay Vijaykumar Chaubal (BDS, MDS, Periodontics and Oral Implantologist) was born in Mumbai, India. He graduated from DY Patil University School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai with the degree of BDS, completed his post-graduate program in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai. After that he was affiliated as a lecturer and then as an associate professor at DY Patil University School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai and currently working as a Senior lecturer at the International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He has many national and international publications to his name. He also serves as a reviewer and editorial board member of many international journals. Research interests are Periodontics, implantology, newer biomaterials in Periodontics and implantology, allergies to dental materials, use of computers and technology in dentistry.
