Assoc. Prof. Dr Khor Goot Heah is currently an academician in Centre of Preclinical Science Studies, Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. She is Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Cancer Research Group, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She completed her undergraduate (BioMedical Sciences), Master (Dental Science) and PhD (Molecular Biology) degree at University of Malaya. She has special research interests in molecular biology, genetic and epigenetic studies, medicinal herbs, drug discovery, and molecular oncology.

She had awarded numerous national and international awards for research, intervention and innovative competitions. Apart from teaching, she has great interest in research and has been presenting her research works at numerous local and international scientific conferences. She has published numerous of academic papers in peer-reviewed of international journals. She has also served as editorial board member and reviewers for numerous of international journals. In addition, she served as advisory panels and judges for several scientific conferences, and intervention and innovative competitions nationally and internationally.
